School Social Worker
Position: School Social Worker
Effective Date: ASAP
Hours: Indian Mound Elementary
Pay: See Teacher Contract
Required Licensure: Current MN Teaching License: School Social Worker with Masters Degree
Current Social Work License: LGSW, LISW or LICSW
Required Experience: Experience with at-risk school age youth Ability to work successfully with students and adults of various economic, racial and cultural backgrounds Knowledge of special education procedures
Responsibilities:
- Work with students individually and in groups
- Work with student in special education and general education
- Assist with collaboration among teachers, students, families and community to meet educational needs
- Provide case management services
- Conduct assessments
- Lead groups on a variety of topics

- Paid Time Off: Employees accrue time off for things like Earned Personal Leave or sick days.
- Employee Support: There is also help for employees with life events through a free Employee Assistance Program. This program covers many things, including mental health, financial health, aging parent resources, young family resources.
