Summary
We are seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is primarily focused on operating a sit-down forklift, moving materials throughout the plant, and supporting production and shipping operations.
Job Description
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move raw materials, castings, finished goods, and scrap.
- Supply production lines and move completed parts to designated areas.
- Load/unload and stage materials throughout the facility.
- Scan, label, and track inventory and material locations.
- Complete forklift inspections and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Use computer systems, inventory software, or ERP systems as needed.
Requirements
- 1+ year of warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, material handling, or forklift experience.
- Strong experience operating a sit-down forklift.
- Computer, inventory, Excel, or ERP experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a hot, noisy, and sometimes dirty manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable work ethic and strong attendance.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Must be comfortable working overtime and occasional weekends.
Pay: $18–$24/hour based on experience, with overtime opportunities and a 5% shift differential for 2nd/3rd shift.
