Life Insurance Sales Agent – Hybrid/Remote/In-Person | Raleigh/Triangle Area Commission-Based | Flexible Schedule | Real Earning Potential

What This Job Actually Is

You'll sell life insurance to families over the phone and Zoom. You'll work a mix of inbound leads (people who requested information) and outbound follow-up. You set your own schedule, work from home, and get paid based on what you close.

This is a 1099 commission role — no base salary. If you're self-motivated and consistent, the earning potential is real. If you need a guaranteed paycheck while you ramp up, this likely isn't the right fit.

Realistic Earnings

• Per sale: $800–$1,200 commission
• Part-time (20 hrs/week): $30K–$60K in year one for agents who hit consistent activity
• Full-time: $60K–$120K once you've built momentum; higher for top performers
• Weekly pay

What the Day-to-Day Looks Like

• Call and Zoom with 8–15 prospects daily
• Walk families through coverage options and help them choose
• Track your activity and pipeline
• Attend weekly training (remote)
• Follow up consistently — this job rewards discipline more than talent

You're Probably a Fit If

• You've done phone sales, retail, real estate, or any performance-based role
• You're comfortable hearing no and moving on quickly
• You want to control your income and schedule
• You're willing to get licensed if you aren't already (we'll show you how)

• You need a base salary or steady hourly pay right now
• You prefer in-person work
• You're not comfortable with daily outbound calling

Requirements

• U.S. citizen or legal resident living in the U.S.
• Triangle area preferred, but fully remote
• Background check required
• Life & Health License (or willingness to obtain before starting)
