Responsibilities The Paramedic (EMT‑P) will provide timely patient care during emergency and non‑emergency calls and transport patients to definitive care facilities. Respond to 911 calls and other emergency requests. Operate the emergency vehicle safely. Deliver Advanced Life Support care in accordance with protocols. Maintain accurate documentation and patient care reports. Work cooperatively with other EMS, medical agencies, and transport services. Adhere to company policies, SOPs, and medical protocols. Ensure patient safety equipment is functional and maintained. Serve as team lead for EMTs as required. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Current Colorado Paramedic license. ACLS, PALS, and CPR (HEA) certification. Valid driving record. Completion of FEMA IS courses (IS‑100, IS‑200, IS‑700, IS‑5A). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively. Physical ability to perform typical EMT tasks (lifting, stooping, etc.). Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Clinical Requirements Provide Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support care per scope of practice. Develop and implement patient care plans. Monitor patient conditions and communicate with medical personnel. Complete documentation and reporting standards. Assist with transport logistics and patient hand‑over to receiving facilities. Environmental & Physical Conditions Work outdoors in various weather conditions; exposure to high noise and hazardous materials possible. Regular lifting and carrying up to 100 lbs.; regularly stand, sit, and bend; operating at high stress levels.
