Position Summary Deputy Program Operations Manager (POM) – LADS Business, Tucson, Arizona, United States. Onsite role requiring U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance. Role Overview Lead the Operations Integrated Product Team (IPT) for Coyote Blk3+ production, ensuring successful execution of all production phases, compliance with IPDS Gate processes, and alignment with manufacturing strategy. Responsibilities Drive overall management and coordination of recurring and non‑recurring manufacturing resources to support program requirements. Lead Operations through IPDS Gate processes, developing manufacturing plans, supporting EAC reporting, and managing risk and opportunity. Serve as the primary interface across all operation value streams and lead implementation of engineering change orders. Present performance reports to Customer, Senior Directors, and VP level representing the IPT team. Apply manufacturing engineering skillsets across the extended value stream to resolve constraints and improve designs. Leverage technical knowledge to influence business decisions from new designs to recurring production. Design, control, and improve producibility of products through collaboration with a multi‑disciplined team. Lead and coordinate projects, efforts, and improvements across the extended value streams. Act as the manufacturing and producibility authority within the program. Identify and resolve program‑wide constraints and participate in corrective action investigations. Provide technical input, peer reviews, and guidance for engineering design changes. Support Manufacturing Operations strategy and apply CORE best practices. Develop and implement cost‑reduction initiatives for recurring efforts and new business opportunities. Coordinate Operations bids, generate production plans, and write manufacturing sections of technical proposals. Qualifications A university degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8years of relevant experience, OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 5years of experience. Experience with MRP systems such as SAP or PRISM (or equivalent). Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Secret) required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required. Preference for Lean manufacturing and management experience. Strong team‑building skills to lead a multi‑disciplined team. Experience with new product introductions and the design hand‑off to manufacturing processes with focus on manufacturability. Experience developing manufacturing strategies and cost proposals. Knowledge of and experience with IPDS (Integrated Product Development System) processes. Salary & Benefits Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
