Operations Manager

Operations ManagerThis position requires an individual to lead the operations and production efforts at a branch location. The Operations Manager will use business insight and leadership abilities to motivate the branch team towards efficiency and profitability by delivering service to customers. Primary responsibilities include planning, organizing, coordinating equipment and facility resources, and overseeing all operations of the assigned branch.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and enforce operational policies and procedures in collaboration with the VP of Operations and Human Resources.Review annual branch production forecasts and budgets, and monitor performance-to-plan throughout the season.Manage job costs, report deviations, and work with the customer service team to ensure contractual expectations are met.Oversee billing and work completion, and make service-related decisions with Production Managers.Ensure branch employees receive necessary training with an emphasis on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency.Manage the scheduling of all summer and winter operations, including directing and dispatching snow and ice event operations.Identify staffing needs, assist in recruiting, and maintain proper staffing levels to meet production goals.Communicate, counsel, train, discipline, and review assigned employees and manage subcontractor relationships.Manage quality assurance by addressing issues, performing inspections, and reviewing accounts with the sales team.Maintain branch safety, conduct safety meetings, ensure proper use of assets, and manage facility security.Required QualificationsEducation: Minimum 2-year degree and/or Landscape/Irrigation Management certification.Experience: 4 years of landscape management experience.Skills:A current driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record are required.Excellent oral and written communication skills and high organization.Demonstrated problem-solving skills regarding client and employee concerns.Ability to complete assigned work in a timely and accurate manner.Works well with customers and co-workers.Demonstrates independent action and resourcefulness on the job.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
