Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who has a proven track record in managing construction projects from inception to completion. As a Permanent Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project life cycle, including design, scheduling, budgeting, construction planning, and safety management. Excellent benefits Career advancement Amazing culture Competitive salary Collaborative + friendly teams Supportive leadership Competitive 401(k) Job Details Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation Allocate resources for assigned projects Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones Analyze, manage and mitigate risks Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques Qualifications: Proven working experience in construction management for 5+ years Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods Expertise in building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards Understanding of all facets of the construction process Familiarity with construction management software packages Ability to plan and see the “big picture” Competent in conflict and crisis management Excellent time and project management skills BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is a plus Proficient in interpreting and using blueprints, schematics, and construction documents In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards Good knowledge of MS Office Familiarity with construction/ project management software Outstanding communication and negotiation skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills A team player with leadership abilities PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with an exciting work environment.
