This role is also eligible for SCs annual short-term incentive bonus, subject to eligibility criteria./ppJoin Our Team as a Welder!/ppThe Welder-Intermediate is responsible for performing various welding tasks to assemble metal structures and parts. The role involves using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments. This position requires adherence to safety protocols, precision in execution, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to ensure the production of high-quality welded products./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliExecute moderately complex welding operations to join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable material such as stainless steel./liliSet up and operate manual and semi-automatic (robotic) welding equipment including MIG and TIG welding, including turntable MIG./liliRead and interpret moderately complex blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and job orders to determine appropriate welding processes./liliEnsure welding is completed to the required standards and specifications./liliInspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects and ensure conformity with specifications. Deburr pieces to create appropriate welding services when necessary./liliMove materials, parts, equipment and other items using material handling equipment (ie. Lifts, hoists, hand trucks. etc) ensuring safety practices are diligently followed./liliRobotic Welders: Operate and program robotic welding equipment. Set up robotic welding systems for production runs. Monitor robotic welding operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with robotic welding equipment./liliMaintain welding equipment in good working condition./liliWork collaboratively with team members and other departments to achieve production goals./liliRecord and report production data accurately and timely./liliParticipate in and identify continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding processes./liliMeet department targets and consistently adhere to quality and safety standards./liliUnderstand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules./liliMaintain regular and punctual attendance./liliAttend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required./liliCommunicate effectively and respectfully with others./liliOther responsibilities as assigned./li/ulpWhat youll Need To Succeed:/ppJob Requirements (To select this job at a minimum you must have the following):/pulliHigh school diploma/lili3-4 years of demonstrated experience in a welding role in a manufacturing, automotive, or related environment./liliSound understanding of welding techniques, metallurgy, and welding symbols./liliKnowledge of safety standards related to welding and metalworking./liliAbility to pass a welding skills test./liliSound understanding of the properties and characteristics of metals used in welding./liliUnderstanding of welding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting./liliRobotic Welders: Understanding of robotic welding systems and programming. Knowledge of robotic welding setup and maintenance. Familiarity with robotic welding software and troubleshooting techniques./liliAbility to perform MIG, stick, and flux-cored arc welding techniques./liliProficient in reading and interpreting moderately complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications./liliGood attention to detail to ensure precision in welding tasks./liliExcellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity./liliAbility to set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools./liliWell-rounded problem-solving skills to identify and resolve welding-related issues./liliEffective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors./liliAbility to work independently and as part of a team./li/ulpReady to make an impact and become an employee-owner?
