Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/17/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse position available in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This role involves coordinating and implementing patient care for patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring safety, comfort, and quality of care in a fast-paced clinical setting. The RN will work within the surgical services department to facilitate smooth patient transitions and contribute to the overall success of the care team. Job Details: Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM), minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license; BLS Certification via AHA; ACLS Certification via AHA; PALS Certification via AHA; 0 or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or surgical services is advantageous. Float: Float rotation may be required to other units within surgical services. Additional Information: Backfill replacement position, starting as soon as possible. The assignment involves working with patients in recovery from anesthesia, performing point-of-care testing, and collaborating with healthcare team members.
