The Market Director serves as the senior leader responsible for the performance, growth, and

operational execution of the Augusta market.

This individual leads a team of department leaders responsible for property management,

maintenance, leasing, resident services, and project operations. The Market Director is

accountable for financial performance, operational excellence, team development, customer

satisfaction, and market growth.

This role is best suited for a leader who thinks like an owner, enjoys building high-performing

teams, and is passionate about creating systems that scale.

Success in this role is measured by the ability to achieve market objectives through people,

systems, and leadership—not by personally managing day-to-day property issues.

Compensation:

$150,000 - $180,000 annual base salary range

Qualifications: Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience

• Experience leading multiple departments or business functions

• Demonstrated responsibility for financial performance and budget management

• Proven ability to build, develop, and retain high-performing teams

• Strong operational and organizational leadership skills

• Excellent communication and decision-making abilities

• Track record of improving systems, processes, and business performance

Preferred Qualifications 

• Property management experience

• Multi-family or single-family rental experience

• Home services or maintenance operations experience

• Hospitality or multi-unit operations leadership experience

• Experience managing P&L responsibility exceeding $5 million annually

• Experience leading organizations with 30+ employees

Physical Requirements

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Required to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate a vehicle to visit and perform property inspections.
