A respected firm is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join its Charlotte office. This role offers hands-on litigation experience and the opportunity to manage a meaningful caseload with partner support.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a workers' compensation caseload from start to resolution
• Conduct legal analysis and case strategy development
• Take depositions of parties, medical providers, and experts
• Represent clients in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Draft motions, briefs, and discovery responses
• Attend and argue hearings before the Industrial Commission
• Review medical records and investigate claims
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, insurers, and risk managers

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Bar License
• 2+ years of Workers' Compensation experience required
• Strong legal writing and research skills
• Deposition and mediation experience preferred
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Salary commensurate with candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
