Outpatient Physical TherapistThe Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician directives. This role includes the delegation and direction of therapy services, ensuring functional treatment programs are designed for effective community reintegration. The therapist also serves as an educator to patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals.ResponsibilitiesComplete comprehensive evaluations for assigned patients and establish treatment goals aimed at progressing towards discharge.Document medical records accurately and in a timely manner, including goal writing and letters of medical necessity.Ensure care is delivered under valid physician orders and adheres to insurance approvals.Participate in student programs by providing supervision and evaluation.Create a professional development plan focused on personal and professional growth through continued education.Follow regulations outlined in the State Practice Act and maintain licensure in good standing.Engage in performance improvement initiatives to maximize service quality and outcomes.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureDegree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.Current CPR certification.A valid and active license for the state in which the work will be performed.ScheduleThis position operates on a 5x8.0 schedule.Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
