Professional Sales Manager – Pepsi MidAmerica – Mount Vernon, IL Pepsi MidAmerica is a family‑owned company serving communities across Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Arkansas. We are looking for motivated leaders to strengthen customer relationships for the Mount Vernon and surrounding area markets. Position Overview Seeking a highly motivated, results‑driven and self‑disciplined leader to join our sales leadership team. Responsibilities include leading personnel, developing sales strategies, strengthening customer partnerships, and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities Recruit, train, mentor, and develop team members. Create and manage employee schedules. Evaluate employee attendance, performance, and professional growth. Monitor training progress and coordinate ongoing development opportunities. Foster a positive, performance‑driven team environment. Build and maintain strong relationships with Store Managers and customers. Ensure account service according to Pepsi MidAmerica standards and policies. Identify new business opportunities and convert competitor accounts. Develop and maintain customer contact lists and follow‑up communications. Meet and exceed customer service and sales expectations. Negotiate pricing, terms, and sales agreements with customers. Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and service offerings. Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Analyze challenges and provide effective problem‑solving solutions. Collaborate with departments across the Pepsi MidAmerica organization. Represent Pepsi MidAmerica professionally and positively at all times. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of management experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred; 4+ years of management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, online research, and report preparation. Ability to travel and remain active throughout the workday as business demands.
