Patient Care Coordinator - Front Office

Description NOW Hiring - Patient Care Coordinator - Front Desk Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients warmly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, team members, clinicians, and all departments.
- Provide detailed instructions to patients for their visits.
- Review and assess patient charts for data entry accuracy.
- Collaborate as a team to maintain an efficient working environment, ensuring timely calls to patients and referral sources.
- Familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation/medical services and medical terminology.
- Answer phone calls.
- Handle patient registration and data entry.
- Perform scanning, faxing, and other clerical tasks.
- Collect copayments and patient balances.
- Manage patient scheduling.
- Assist with patient care as needed.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills.
- Understand insurance benefits.
- Doctors of Physical Therapy is looking for a full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our RANCHO BERNARDO/SAN DIEGO CLINIC. The ideal candidate will seek longevity with a growing company, be a self-starter, and possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Building relationships with patients and the community is essential to fostering a welcoming environment.
