Job Responsibilities

• Create Custom Treatment Plans: Assess patients' specific needs and design personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional milestones.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and everyday living tasks.
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive, whole-person care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy practices to ensure continuous improvement in a home setting.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Encouragement for ongoing education or post-graduate certifications.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory.
