In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine observations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to help reduce incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or operational concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted and/or operational areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions that could affect screening operations or other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
