2nd Shift Supervisor Production Operations - Hardware

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a second-shift production supervisor to oversee manufacturing and assembly of immunoassay diagnostic instruments in Chaska, Minnesota. The role involves managing direct reports, driving operational KPIs, and implementing lean manufacturing principles to support production objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct reports' work requirements, performance, and career development with timely feedback
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPIs using standard work and daily management practices
• Identify and solve problems to build sustainable processes supporting production plans
• Foster continuous improvement using DBS tools, kaizen, and Gemba evidence with the team
• Set and deliver on challenging, aspirational goals aligned with available resources

Requirements

• High school diploma with 8+ years production experience, or bachelor's degree with 5+ years, or master's degree with 3+ years
• Proven ability to lead production teams with measurable goals and structured feedback systems
• Demonstrated experience applying lean manufacturing principles such as Kaizen, 5S, and Gemba
• Track record building sustainable processes that achieve production plans and organizational goals
• Competence in data analysis for process improvement and KPI tracking
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environment with FDA, QSR, ISO, or GMP compliance knowledge preferred

Compensation: $85,000-$100,000 base, plus bonus and incentive pay eligibility
