Cyber Security Analyst

COLSA is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst in Orlando, FL to support the development, maintenance, and sustainment of the network accreditation posture of the Digital Integration Laboratory (DIL) in accordance with current DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) security guidance and regulatory policies. This role is responsible for supporting the DIL network’s Authority to Operate (ATO), as well as incident monitoring, detection, analysis, and response efforts. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions) Support risk assessments and may provide recommendations for security process programming improvements. Assist in a wide range of Cyber security issues including architecture, firewalls, data traffic, and network access. Assist with assessments of system’s security posture. Assist with security testing to verify cyber security integrity of the system. Involved in the integration of architectural features into existing infrastructures. May be involved in the resolution of integration/testing issues. May assist with encryption, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies and information technology security research. Prepare and deliver the documentation, technical data, and computer data needed for the submission of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) documentation in support of RMF activities. Control connections and access to eMASS, including user accounts and privileges, in accordance with Management Information Security Committee (MISC) policies. Learn about our employee-centric culture and benefits here: Required SkillsRequired Experience Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field. Security+ CE (or other current baseline IAM 1 certification as referenced in DoD 8570.01) Prior experience in cyber, information technology, Risk Management Framework (RMF), or related areas Strong sense of operational excellence and mission focus - adept problem solver, deadline driven, and detail oriented. Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings. U.S. citizenship required; must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance prior to start; Preferred Qualifications Active DoD Secret security clearance. Knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), system authorization, and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes. Hands-on experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS). Background in security monitoring, incident detection, analysis, and response. Familiarity with security audit log analysis. Knowledge of vulnerability assessments, security controls, and security testing within DoD or other regulated environments.
