Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,199 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Grand Marais, Minnesota. The assignment lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on rotating 12‑hour shifts. Responsibilities Collaborate with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage, and implement patient care using appropriate procedures and physician instructions. Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries, and plan long‑term care needs. Document medical history; check for allergies; obtain vital signs; monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being. Provide basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, and administer IV therapy. Maintain supplies and medical equipment. Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies. Stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods; lift up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs when necessary. Manage stress effectively and provide compassionate care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license. 1–2 years recent acute‑care experience. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (at least 2 years). Additional certifications may be required before the assignment. Physical ability to lift 20 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs when needed. Compensation Pay based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
