Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Location: Manchester, NH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will provide excellent nursing care to critically ill patients, both medical and surgical, in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong telemetry skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Operate and manage various medical equipment including IV pumps, telemetry monitors, and ventilators.
• Perform critical procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and chest tube insertion.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement processes and adhere to established policies and guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience in a critical care setting preferred, specifically with telemetry, critical drips, and ventilator management.
