Associate Attorney – Medical Malpractice Defense McQuaide Blasko is seeking a full time Associate Attorney to join our litigation team in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This position will focus primarily on medical malpractice defense, representing both institutional and individual healthcare providers. The successful candidate will have meaningful responsibility for their cases while working closely with experienced attorneys who provide guidance, mentorship, and support. What You Will Do As an Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to develop and manage cases through all stages of litigation, including: Manage cases from inception to post-trial proceedings , with increasing responsibility and independence as your experience develops. Work directly with clients to understand their needs, provide regular case updates, and develop strong professional relationships. Appear in court , including hearings, conferences, and other proceedings. Participate in arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations . Conduct and defend depositions , with opportunities to develop and refine your deposition skills. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents . Prepare, review, and respond to written discovery . Conduct legal, medical, and factual research and apply that research to complex litigation issues. Will work closely with subject matter experts. Work closely with experienced attorneys in preparation for trial, arbitration or mediation. What We Are Looking For JD from accredited law school. Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing. 1-5 years of litigation experience . Strong written, analytical, and oral advocacy skills Excellent organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines. A willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility. The ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a collaborative team. A professional, client-focused approach and strong interpersonal skills. Medical malpractice, healthcare, or other complex litigation experience is preferred, but not required.
