Join Our Team! NHC HealthCare Garden City is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as our Admissions Nurse. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to make a meaningful impact from the very first moment a patient enters our care.

Position Summary:

• As the Admissions Nurse, you will be the first point of contact for new patients entering our facility. Your primary responsibilities include:
• Completing pre-admission screenings and providing a thorough medical assessment
• Collecting and documenting each patient's medical history
• Ensuring all required forms, insurance information, and paperwork are complete and accurate
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to support a smooth and efficient admission process
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current RN or LPN license
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
