Job Summary
The Springfield, Illinois, facility is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse (RN) for an acute care hospital setting. The successful candidate will provide specialized nursing care within the diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization laboratory. Candidates are required to bring their Illinois nursing license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details

• Position / Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab RN
• Shift: 3x12 Days (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM)
• Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois nursing license in hand, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications, minimum 1 year experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, Cerner charting system experience, and at least 18 months of unit-specific experience unless otherwise specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, adult left heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, right heart catheterization, procedural sedation administration, and management of dysrhythmias.
• Additional Information: Must be separated from previous travel assignments for at least 12 months before applying. Candidates will need to float within the hospital or to affiliated facilities as required. Candidates must complete a lab appointment, Docusign, and badge photo within one week of signing the contract. Vaccinations include a flu vaccine; COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
• Submission Requirements: Provide 2-3 interview times upon submission, include SSN and DOB at the time of submittal, and ensure all certifications and licensure are current and available.
