As a Health & Safety Specialist, you'll partner closely with the Health & Safety Manager and operational leaders to develop, implement, and continuously improve safety programs that protect employees and drive operational excellence.

• Lead the execution of safety programs, policies, procedures, and initiatives that promote a world-class safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, industry standards, and company safety requirements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to employees, supervisors, and leadership teams on all workplace health and safety matters.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and workplace evaluations to proactively identify and eliminate safety concerns.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety events using root cause analysis methodologies, then implement meaningful corrective actions.
• Facilitate engaging safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee awareness programs that inspire participation and accountability.
• Deliver impactful safety training while maintaining accurate records within the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Manage incident reporting, corrective actions, and safety metrics through the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Perform regular inspections, audits, and compliance reviews to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
• Collaborate with vendors, auditors, and cross-functional teams to address findings and drive continuous improvement.
• Review new equipment, processes, and operational changes to ensure all safety requirements are met before implementation.
• Support powered industrial equipment safety programs through training, coaching, and operational guidance.
• Partner with site leadership across multiple Arizona locations to standardize best practices and elevate safety performance.

You are an experienced hands-on safety professional who is comfortable spending time on the floor, building relationships, solving challenges, and influencing positive behavior. You understand how to balance regulatory compliance with practical operational needs and know how to gain buy-in from teams at every level.

• Experience supporting Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, industrial, distribution, or similar environments.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analyses, job hazard analyses, and risk assessments.
• Proven ability to deliver safety training and coach employees effectively.
• Experience working with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Knowledge of powered industrial equipment operations and safety requirements.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to influence safe behaviors and drive accountability across all levels of an organization.
• Willingness to travel locally throughout the Phoenix metro area as needed.

• Safety experience within data centers, logistics operations, distribution facilities, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Experience facilitating safety committees, toolbox talks, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Familiarity reviewing new equipment, machinery, and operational processes for safety compliance.
• Experience managing audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide practical solutions in dynamic operational environments.

This is a fully onsite opportunity with openings in Mesa and Goodyear, Arizona .

You'll spend time actively engaging with employees in industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, and data center environments where safety leadership is visible and impactful. The role combines field presence, training, auditing, investigations, and collaboration with site leadership teams to create safer workplaces.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• Approximately 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Occasional on-call support until 5:00 PM for end-of-shift operations
• Local Arizona travel only
• No overnight or out-of-state travel required

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Goodyear, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
