Position Summary: A Purchasing Administrator is responsible to key all purchase orders into Timberline once the Purchasing Agent has written the purchase order. The Purchasing Administrator will collaborate with the accounts payable team, Purchasing Agents, and vendors to research and correct any purchasing errors. Position Responsibilities: Ensure that all administration procedures are followed and executed in a professional manner. Perform data entry for all aspects of material acquisition and inventory including: Entry of inventory receipts and transfers Verification and analysis of Purchase Orders vs. invoices Support of purchasing agents in various other aspects. Ensure adherence to established procedures and requirements. Work in a schedule-driven environment and maintain time management. Research and analyze purchase orders to assist in job closings. Establish relationships with vendors. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.) and Bluebeam. Previous sales and/or inventory experience is a plus. Preferred experience in data entry. Experience in electrical construction. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills and great attitude is a must. Physical Demands: Must be able to sit at a desk and/or computer for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
