Staff Finance Analyst

The Role As a Staff Financial Analyst within AMD’s Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you’ll be at the heart of strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Support the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long‑term financial plans Analyze financial results and KPIs to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities Build and maintain financial models to guide business planning and strategic decisions Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate and consistent financial data Deliver clear, actionable insights through presentations and reports to senior management Contribute to ad‑hoc analysis and special projects that drive business performance Monitor industry and economic trends to assess potential financial impacts Uphold compliance with corporate financial policies and procedures Preferred Experience Background in financial analysis, ideally within a corporate FP&A setting Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; financial modeling expertise Experience with data analysis using SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, or related tools Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Academic Credentials Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
