Our ambulances are staffed by highly trained Paramedics and EMTs equipped to manage traumatic injuries, sudden illnesses, and complex medical emergencies. Position Overview As a Paramedic at Lakes Region EMS, you will play a crucial role in providing prehospital emergency medical care in a variety of settings, including accidents, medical emergencies, and interfacility transfers. Responsibilities Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, performing advanced procedures, and transporting patients to medical facilities. Paramedics collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals and community partners and must demonstrate sound decision-making, adaptability, and the ability to provide compassionate care under pressure. Paramedic certifications are not required to apply, but are required prior to starting. Offers will be contingent on obtaining all the necessary certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Valid driver’s license Ability to pass all pre‑employment screenings, including drug testing, health assessment (history, physical exam, lift assessment), background check (including MedEx Complete), and motor vehicle record check Summary Lakes Region EMS is proud to support our employees by offering a unique benefits approach.
