Registered Nurse - PACU

Overview
The Pre/Post Op Nurse provides care for patients before and after surgery. They prep IVs and recover in ambulatory surgery centers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in perioperative nursing and patient care, with experience in pre/post‑op settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for surgery and monitor post‑op recovery.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
- Educate patients on pre‑ and post‑op care.
- Document care in EHR systems like Epic.
- Collaborate with surgical teams for recovery plans.
- Manage inventory of pre/post‑op supplies.
This position is key to surgical patient preparation and recovery. Nurses with perioperative experience are encouraged to apply for this Pre/Post Op Nurse role.
