Certified Nursing Assistant – Long-Term Care
Part-time positions available with 2 shift/3 shift rotational options, or 24 hours per week.
Assignment Details
Licensed nursing personnel will oversee activities, focusing on resident care and safety.
Requirements
- Current NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA/RQI)
- One (1) year of previous long-term care experience
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) in accordance with their care plans.
- Maintain a safe environment by monitoring resident safety and responding promptly to call lights.
- Support residents' nutritional needs through meal assistance and adherence to dietary preferences.
- Facilitate rehabilitative care as outlined in care plans.
- Report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the supervising nurse.
