Position Overview We are looking for FX strategists to join our proprietary trading firm. You will develop and execute currency strategies using firm capital, combining macro analysis, technical setups, and disciplined risk management to capture opportunities across major and emerging market pairs. Location: Columbus, OH Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Experience Level: 2+ years trading or managing investments Key Responsibilities Execute forex and crypto trades using firm capital and a documented trading plan Synthesize macro data, central bank guidance, and intermarket signals into actionable views Apply technical frameworks — trend, mean reversion, or breakout — consistent with your edge Manage open positions through partials, trailing stops, and disciplined exit rules Maintain a structured trade journal to drive continuous improvement in your process Participate in optional trader collaboration channels to broaden perspective Required Qualifications 2+ years of real-money trading experience in derivatives or currency markets Ability to articulate your trading edge and the data that supports it Disciplined risk management process with documented sizing and stop rules Strong work ethic and genuine interest in trading as a long-term profession Reliable hardware, software, and internet appropriate for active trading Prior experience on professional or institutional platforms is welcomed Position Details Independent contractor (1099) position with performance-driven compensation Earn 60–90% of profits generated — splits increase as you advance within the firm Initial capital allocation of up to $50,000, with a clear path to $500,000+ Complete location flexibility — this is a fully remote position Consistent traders receive capital increases on a regular schedule Further details about the role and incentives shared during the interview process Our Work Culture Performance is the only metric that matters here.
