Human Resources Generalist

Position Overview Provides HR generalist support. A steward of the desired culture, providing knowledgeable and professional guidance, administers HR functions such as compliance with employment laws and regulations, policies and programs; maintenance of employment records, hiring and staffing; onboarding; data collection and analysis; accurate maintenance of HRIS systems; benefits, and training and development. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years relevant experience Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time Excellent oral & written communication skills Solid computer skills Strong analytical and technical skills Bachelor’s degree and relevant industry experience SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment Core Responsibilities HR Generalist Support Provides knowledgeable and professional HR guidance Supports compliance with employment laws, regulations, policies, and programs Maintains employment records and HR documentation Supports benefits administration and training & development initiatives Hiring & Staffing Administers hiring process for hourly and non-exempt positions Posts job openings Reviews resume Conducts screening interviews Coordinates pre-employment screening processes Sends offer confirmations and post-acceptance documents to select candidates HRIS & Compliance Reviews all I9 forms for new hires to ensure accurate completion Follows up with hiring managers as needed Maintains HRIS systems to ensure employee and organizational data is accurate and up to date Maintains and audits electronic and physical employment files Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and company policies/programs Reporting & Data Analysis Compiles and analyzes HR data Provides reports and recommendations Compiles and tracks key HR information Employee Support Responds to inquiries from applicants, employees, government agencies, and external organizations Ensures a high level of customer service Onboarding & Orientation Guides onboarding process for new employees Conducts new employee orientation Ensures new employees receive benefits, policies, and other necessary information Develops, coordinates, and communicates orientation schedules Follows up with new employees regarding related questions Leads HR orientation program for new employees and temporary agency assignments Assesses and recommends improvements to orientation programs Key Areas of Focus Employee relations / investigations New Hire Orientation and Hiring / Interview Support Leave of Absence Initiation and POC Guidance Plant Leadership Team Support on Communications – Overtime, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr AppleOne Employment Services
