Role Overview The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides specialized nursing care and related services to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MD). Responsibilities include performing clinical procedures such as sterile dressings, injections, and medication administration, as well as developing and implementing patient care plans. The role involves coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, offering patient education, and maintaining clinical supplies. Key Duties Delivering patient care according to established policies and nursing processes Performing routine visits and assisting in care planning Implementing and coordinating individualized care plans Administering medications and performing clinical procedures Ordering and restocking supplies, maintaining a clean environment Participating in on-call duties as required Qualifications & Skills Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred: Arrhythmia certification and valid driver’s license High school diploma or GED; preferred: bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently Additional Requirements Adherence to vaccination policies and participation in organizational safety standards Ability to perform assigned clinical procedures and patient education Effective communication and teamwork skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
