Culinary Support Chef Join a respected team in a dynamic caf environment

We're hiring a Culinary Support Chef for our client IDEXX in Westbrookthis is an opportunity to join a team that values excellence, teamwork, and innovation in food service. This position pays $23/hr and is a long-term temporary assignment. This is a hands-on culinary role where you'll contribute across kitchen operationsfrom preparation to platingwhile supporting a fast-paced, professional caf environment with a strong focus on quality and food safety. Typical daily duties:

Prepare and serve food as directed by the head or executive chef Perform line cooking, food prep, menu support, and plating Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and proper food safety standards Monitor ingredient quality and ensure proper food handling procedures Support kitchen operations by stepping into different roles as needed Clean and maintain caf equipment and machinery Cross train across kitchen stations, including register/cashier

What we're looking for:

ServSafe certification preferred and strong knowledge of food safety standards Proven knife skills, food preparation experience, and kitchen organization Strong team player with excellent customer service skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
