JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Department: Endoscopy GI

Shift Timings : 07:30 - 16:00 Hours (8 hours shift/5 days). Monday to friday

Per week: 40 hours

Call: based on department needs - currently at one weekday call and one weekend call per month, holidays as needed with current staff

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's care needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Minimum Qualifications
• Experience with moderate sedation and advanced endoscopy procedures including EUS, ERCP, and EBUS, EPIC; may need to float onsite within skill set

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current RN GI/Endoscopy experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered Wisconsin RN license
• One year of Cerner experience

Requirements
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
