Position Overview

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children diagnosed with autism and related disorders in the home and community settings. Services are delivered under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others, enjoy working independently, and want to make a meaningful impact in a child’s life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in the home and community settings

• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the BCBA

• Utilize Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), and behavior reduction strategies

• Collect accurate data on skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs using Rethink

• Follow all behavior intervention plans (BIP) with fidelity

• Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, caregivers, and team members

• Assist with generalization of skills across settings and caregivers

• Attend supervision sessions, trainings, and team meetings as required

• Provide professional and compassionate support to clients and families

Qualifications

Required:

• Active RBT certification

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for in-home services

• Ability to pass background check

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree or coursework in Psychology, Education, ABA, or related field

• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities

• Familiarity with ABA principles and data collection
