Cardiothoracic Surgery physician employment in Florida :

Locums opportunity within 20-30 min of Fort Lauderdale, FL for a Thoracic Surgeon to cover the month of August for now - likely to be extended long term.

• Board Certified or Eligible Thoracic Surgeon
• Coverage starting in September and is ongoing
• 7-10 days of coverage in the month
• 24 call only including nights and weekends
• All Thoracic procedures but robotics and esophagectomy procedures are optional - lobectomy, wedge resection, mediastinal procedures, VATS, bronchoscopy, etc
• OR volume depends on type of emergency
• EMR used is Epic
• Generous rate and malpractice covered
• Preference is local candidate but will entertain travelers
