As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $20.18 / Hour Job Schedule Sat 09:00 AM - 09:00 PM Sun 09:00 AM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly movement throughout the facility. Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as appropriate. Minimum Requirements At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
