Job Description
Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse

Schedule:
- Shift Type: 3x12 Days
- Weekends: Every Other Weekend Required

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Required: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and C-section experience
- Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS
- First-time travelers accepted
- Pending license accepted

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage labor and delivery processes effectively.
- Provide care and recovery support for patients post-C-section.
- Assist in circulating and supporting during C-section procedures.
- Deliver postpartum couplet care for mothers and infants.
- Initiate and manage IV starts as well as IV antibiotic administration.
- Stabilize cases in a Level II NICU setting, including short-term intubation when necessary.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Pre-approved time off must be included with submittal
- References: 2 required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Local restriction: Travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles are not eligible for travel contract
