Location: Houston, TX, US About Daily Gather Daily Gather is an opening crew role in a family‑oriented restaurant located in Houston’s City Centre. We value hospitality, growth, pride, and family spirit. Responsibilities Assist team members in meeting guests’ needs. Clear and reset tables after guests leave. Pre‑buss plates and cups that guests are no longer using while they are seated. Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift. Remove used tableware and take it to the dishroom, unload, sort, and stack silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in designated areas. Promptly clean table tops, chairs, and booths between seatings; check floor and clean as required; reset and arrange tabletop. Inspect restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed. Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate them to cashier/server as needed. Communicate with cashier/server/hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service. Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods. Thank guests as they are leaving. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the manager or supervisor. Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement. Perform other restaurant tasks as required by management or leadership. Qualifications Communicate clearly and effectively. Be able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
