Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for a travel assignment in Sachse, Texas. This role involves providing post-operative recovery care and preoperative services, with responsibilities spanning both PACU and preoperative functions. Candidates will work the day shift and participate in rotational holiday and weekend schedules.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Location: Sachse, Texas
• Shift Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications:
  Certifications: ACLS (preferred), CPR (required)
  Education: Valid RN license in the state of Texas
  Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Phase 1 PACU experience
  Location: Must be eligible to work in the United States
  Years of Experience: 0+ years of professional experience in PACU or relevant areas
• Preferred Qualifications:
  Experience in preoperative/post-Anesthesia services such as preop/PAT, orthopedic, or robotic surgeries
  Ability to work as a team player with a positive attitude
• Additional Information:
  The unit is equipped with Meditech electronic medical records (EMR) and primarily handles orthopedic, general surgery, and robotic procedures. The staffing consists of four day shift nurses and minimal night shift coverage. The unit values experienced candidates, teamwork, and a proactive approach to patient care.
