Job Summary

Join a dedicated Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) team at a leading facility in Albany, Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, family-centered care to a diverse patient population within a medically safe environment.

The LDRP unit provides specialized care for patients throughout the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases, as well as comprehensive newborn care. Additionally, the team is trained in GYN surgical care, and this specific location also provides pediatric care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to laboring, delivering, recovering, and postpartum patients.
• Deliver comprehensive care for newborns, ensuring their well-being and safety.
• Assist with the care of GYN surgical patients as needed.
• Provide specialized pediatric nursing care within the LDRP setting.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and operate medical equipment according to established protocols.
• Educate patients and families on various aspects of maternal, newborn, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
• Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Preferred Qualifications

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• STABLE Program certification.
