Job Overview A law firm seeks a junior associate to join its Intellectual Property Technology Transactions practice in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will contribute to a collaborative and client-focused environment, supporting a growing team. Responsibilities Draft and negotiate contracts related to technology transactions. Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional client service. Engage in relationship-building and in-person collaboration. Requirements Up to one year of experience in contract drafting and negotiation. Work experience in technology, social media/ecommerce, consulting, financial services, or life sciences is a plus. Admission to the Minnesota or Illinois bar, eligibility to waive in, or commitment to obtain admission promptly after hire. JD from an accredited law school, or current 3L expected to graduate this academic year. Certifications Admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction. Skills Strong academic credentials.
