Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. What does that mean? The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will process invoices and debit memos for payment with limited supervision, taking on extra responsibilities such as problem resolution and mentoring newer employees in the department.

What Will You Do at Graco

• Prepare supplier invoices and debits for payment by matching the invoice with required documentation according to existing procedures and enter into Oracle system to meet required deadlines.
  
• Assist internal and external contacts via correspondence and telephone conversations, answering questions, solving problems, or training on policy as it relates to Accounts Payable.
  
• Review monthly supplier statements ensuring all invoices referred are scheduled for payment.
  
• Perform and/or assist with monthly reconciliations.
  
• Independently identify transaction problems in supplier accounts and take action to resolve.
  
• Assist newer employees in daily tasks.
  
• Miscellaneous other duties as assigned.
  

What You Will Bring to Graco

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  
• Post Secondary Accounting Degree desirable.
  
• Minimum of 2 years Accounts Payable or Equivalent experience, including experience with an Oracle or equivalent AP system.
  
• 10 key proficiency Good understanding of general accounting terms and concepts.
  
• Good communication & organizational skills.
  
• Demonstrated ability to fix the root cause of discrepancy independently.
  
• Good customer service skills with established organizational contacts.
  
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
