Systems Engineer Senior

Job Description This position is a Systems Engineer supporting the Mechanical Ground Support Equipment team for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program. The role involves systems engineering tasks for mechanical ground support equipment development and refresh. Responsibilities Conduct systems engineering tasking associated with the development of mechanical ground support equipment requirements, design and testing. Provide technical expertise supporting a team of systems engineers, including project leadership and planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, manufacturing, facilities, and program management, to ensure successful project execution. Identify and mitigate risks, and implement process improvements and standardization to drive efficiency and affordability. Basic Qualifications Experience in developing Systems Engineering requirements documentation within Jira, Cameo, or DOORS. Experience working with test teams for requirements development and verifications. Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance. Desired Skills Experience with Windchill and/or EPDM product data management toolset. Direct experience in applying systems engineering practices to mechanical ground support equipment and facilities/Class 3 equipment. Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and practices (Cameo preferred). Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at both programmatic and technical levels with subordinates, peers, senior management, program office, and customers. Demonstrated ability to lead change and implement process improvements that drive efficiency and affordability. Security Clearance Requires a Top Secret clearance.
