Soccer Stars is the leading youth sports program serving Long Island and Eastern Queens. We introduce children ages 12 months through 13 years to sports through engaging soccer classes, camps, clinics, and enrichment programs held at schools, parks, and community centers.
Our mission is bigger than soccer—we help children build confidence, teamwork, communication, and character while having an incredible time.
We also offer multisport and non-contact martial arts programs.
Typical Coaching ScheduleWe're currently hiring coaches with consistent availability during one or more of the following times:
Monday-Friday
- 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Monday-Friday
- 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Weekends
- 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
The more availability you have, the more coaching opportunities you'll receive.
What You'll DoAs a Soccer Stars Coach, you'll:
- Lead energetic, high-fun soccer classes
- Create a positive and encouraging environment for every child
- Help children build confidence while learning new skills
- Celebrate effort, improvement, and teamwork
- Arrive prepared and on time for every session
- Continue developing your coaching skills through paid training and mentorship
No two days are the same—and you'll leave work knowing you made a difference.
We're Looking ForWe're looking for energetic, reliable people who genuinely enjoy working with kids.
Ideal candidates include:
- College students
- Student-athletes
- Former athletes
- Education majors
- Physical Education majors
- Exercise Science or Kinesiology students
- Coaches
- Camp counselors
- Teachers
- Anyone with a positive attitude and great energy
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to local schools and parks
- Ability to pass a background check
- Passion for sports, fitness, and helping children grow
Experience with sports, dance, gymnastics, martial arts, cheer, fitness, or childcare is a plus—but not required.
