Job Summary Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center, Level I Trauma, Magnet & Academic Teaching Hospital, is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to support our VIP Signature Suites on the day shift. VIP Signature Suites Provides care for a mixed acuity of priority VIP patients and spine patients in a secure, home‑like environment. 3‑4:1 patient‑to‑nurse ratio. 1+ year of acute hospital experience in MedSurg or MedSurg/telehealth required. Minimum Qualifications Graduated from an accredited nursing school; a Bachelor of Nursing preferred. Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing. Certification in Basic Life Support. Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and unit requirements. RN level: I II 1‑3 years III 3‑10 years IV 10+ years Effective oral and written communication skills. Principal Accountabilities Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients based on nursing skill inventory and patient needs. Coordinates care planning with an interdisciplinary team, administering appropriate clinical decisions. Collaborates with, directs, and may delegate to the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes based on data, research, and professional standards. Coordinates treatment plans; develops and implements discharge and/or transfer plans. Participates in a systemic, interdisciplinary evaluation of programs, process improvement, and client‑centered outcomes. Considers diverse patient needs throughout the continuum of care, ensuring the highest level of service and optimizing the patient experience. Adheres to all regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards. Ensures safe care for patients, staff, and visitors while adhering to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and budgetary specifications. Promotes professional growth by meeting education and competency requirements; may serve as preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff. Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences and modeling Memorial Hermann’s service standards.
