Required Skills:

• Valid Physician Assistant license and certification
• Prior emergency department experience
• Ability to adapt quickly to diverse clinical situations
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with low to moderate acuity cases
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Bilingual abilities are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• NCCPA certification
• At least 1-2 years of ED or urgent care experience
• Previous work in a hospital or ER setting

Other Requirements:

• Local candidates preferred
• Availability for night shifts (10 p.m. 8 a.m.) at Southwood or day shifts (1 p.m. 11 p.m., 11 a.m. 9 p.m., or 9 a.m. 7 p.m.) at Gwinnett
• Willingness to travel and receive reimbursements when applicable
• Compliance with all licensure, certification, and legal requirements
