Internet Sales Consultant

Honda of North Hollywood is under new ownership and expanding! We are looking for qualified, motivated and exceptional individuals to become part of our team. As our Internet Sales Consultant you’re responsible for creating a great experience for all of our guests and using your communication skills to identify needs and wants. This role is a great way for a dedicated and outgoing person to kick start their sales career with us. What You’ll Do Take customers through a thorough buying process supported by established selling steps, policies and procedures. Respond to all internet leads in a timely manner. Manage deals via phone, text, or email. Write engaging emails that meet professional and literary standards. Develop and relay a high level of product knowledge around vehicle features. Demonstrate the operation and features of the desired vehicle in showroom and via test drive. Present the new or pre‑owned vehicle to the customer through an established delivery process, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle’s features, warranty and paperwork. Maintain an owner follow‑up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction, loyalty and long‑term clientele. Develop a prospecting system, making calls and sending emails and text messages to potential customers to set appointments. Set and track personal sales goals on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. Maintain a positive and ethical working relationship with all employees, manufacturers, lenders, vendors and customers. Continue to maintain the dealership’s value, quality, and integrity. Analyze information and evaluate alternatives to resolve issues and make sound, timely decisions. Qualifications Someone who enjoys meeting new people every day and feels passionate about helping customers. Previous experience in customer service and/or sales, not necessarily in car sales. What You’ll Need Full‑time availability and be at least 18 years old. Creative, positive, team‑player attitude. Ability to analyze situations and make win‑win business decisions. Honesty, empathy, and exceptional communication skills. Able to work in team‑based and independent settings. Bilingual in Spanish and English. Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent. Sales and/or customer‑service experience. Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, enthusiastic presence with ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment. Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills. Ability to apply a common‑sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Professional appearance and strong work ethic. Excellent driving record and current, valid driver’s license with satisfactory MVR. Pass background check and drug screen. Ability to work efficiently with the normal amount of direction for the position; displays professional attitude and capabilities of a self‑starter. Physical Demands Sit and/or stand interchangeably throughout the day. Sit and/or stand for long periods. Use hands, fingers and arms continually. Bend, crouch, crawl, stoop and kneel continually.
