(Onsite) The Office of General Counsel’s Healthcare Law Group (HCLG) is seeking a mission‑driven Attorney to serve onsite at VA Central Office in Washington, D.C. About OGC’s Healthcare Law Group (HCLG) HCLG addresses legal issues impacting Veteran healthcare at a national scale, providing leadership and advisory support across: The Medical Benefits Package for Veterans Guardianship, commitment processes, and informed consent Eligibility, enrollment, and copayment requirements VA’s Care in the Community Program Healthcare‑related litigation and legislation HCLG also partners closely with VA’s Office of Regulation Policy and Management, which leads regulatory development, policy integration, and economic impact analysis for healthcare regulations. Preferred Experience: Regulatory drafting and review Conditions of Employment Background/suitability investigation Selective Service registration (for applicable males) Confidential Financial Disclosure Report Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Active membership in good standing in a state or D.C.
