The Human Resources Specialist plays a key role within the Corporate HR team, working closely with department heads to support multiple HR functions. This position emphasizes recruitment and hiring, employee relations, and retention efforts while ensuring compliance and smooth onboarding processes. The specialist will utilize HR software tools such as Workday and BambooHR to enhance efficiency and drive successful outcomes in a generalist capacity. The candidate will also need to have a background in a construction office setting due to the job being a multi task position. Other tasks that will be done are helping Safety Director, Compiling info for the bid process, and general office work.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and hiring processes to attract qualified candidates
• Manage employee relations and support retention initiatives
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment regulations
• Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding programs
• Utilize HR software platforms for data management and reporting
• Collaborate with department heads to address HR needs and challenges
